I should have read the ingredients and not trusted the fragrance free label. I am reminded I gave up on Aveeno Body washes because a fragrance free one gave me atopic dermatitis. This has Coriander oil and very low down Myrrh oil. I was smelling it and thinking I was crazy or it was the shower stall cleanser I was smelling. But no, it has fragrance. Natural fragrance can be even more sensitizing than artificial fragrance. Either can cause reactions. I hate when companies do this. That said, I am sure this in fine for many. This is marketed towards sensitive skin. It says all over it that it is fragrance free . Be careful and read the ingredients carefully. The Restorative Skin Therapy is one that has no essential oils or sulfates.That is another thing, Aveeno has so many similar products with similar names that it is confusing. In the store or on-line it can be overwhelming, especially as many are advertised for sensitive skin. They sometimes change packaging and this can be confusing as well.I love Aveeno though. Don't get me wrong. They have great products. The moisturizing in this line has no fragrance is great.The product is good for what it's advertised. However, as with any liquid item, there should be a sealed lid under the dispenser. It leaked quite a bit in the bag when I opened it. Not a delivering issue, but the packaging is not ideal for shipping.Got this because I have sensitive skin. No smell.This is an amazing product. I've used so many things over the years and I would have some pimple on my back every now and then and then dry skin on my body.I've used so many things and nothing can compare to this.This product helped me a lot. I don't have the dry skin and my skin feels nice and I don't get breakouts here and there using it. Not that I had much of that, but I would have some on my back every now and then. It really sucked because I started working at a place that required me to shower there and there's a lot of naked dudes all around and I didn't feel great removing my clothing. Not that it was bad, but it still sucked.Using their soaps, they're very drying to me too and since using this, it kinda reverses the affects.I would try the Dove Men+care line of the body wash since the shampoo and facial stuff worked and helped my life out, but this is an amazing product that I don't think I'll bother changing.I have an extremely sensitive skin and I've used many that were for sensitive skin and I would get red or it would make me itch or have rashes. This does not.I think I finally found my complete cleaning set with the Dove+Men sensitive + this bodywash. And I am finally done after 13 years of trying all sorts of crap.....Although this is labeled as unscented, it does have a smell. The smell is not of like a perfume, it might just be the smell of oatmeal. It feels fine on the skin, but the smell is quite unpleasant. Maybe trying a scented version would actually be preferred in this instance (like the oat and camomile, coconut, or lavender/camomile). I wish had.I would NOT purchase this again and do not recommend this version.Update: 11/16/18 My skin was really dry, so I decided to hold my nose and use this a few times. Based on this I upgraded from 2 to 4 points of 5. It does indeed have an unpleasant smell as previously mentioned, but I am finding that it does not linger. The cleanser does help a lot with reducing skin dryness and the associated itching. I now recommend it with the caution that it has the ephemeral unpleasant smell. If you cannot tolerate a masking scent, this would be a good choice. I decided to get some more, since it worked well and did not leave a residual smell. If you can tolerate/enjoy some masking scent, you may want to try one with lavender or camomile scent added.I use quite a bit of Aveeno products without any problems (perfume-free bar soap, facial cleansers, perfume-free lotion) but this body wash caused a massive breakout all over my body. Not to mention I find body soap/wash expensive, but I had wanted to try a liquid soap because I am having more and more problems using/holding on to bar soap. Guess I will just have to stay with the soap. And it did leave a "greasy" feel/film on my body, which I had to spend a lot of time rinsing off before I could dry myself (even then I still broke out). And it does have a slight scent, but so does the lotion I use (even though it, too, says perfume-free).As I have aged, my skin has become more and more sensitive. Harsh soaps, fragrances, etc are just a no-go for me these days. I have also had problems with itchy, dry skin, especially in the winter time. This body wash has been a life saver! I have seen a marked improvement in hydration and with that, have seen the itchiness calmed. I will say that "non-scented" does not mean it doesn't have a scent, it means they did not ADD scent. The product does have a very mild scent to it but it is not irritating to the skin and it is not offensive. You also do not end up smelling like the product; you just smell clean.Good quality. Cleans well. A+The only product that WORKS and soothes severe eczema! Have tried lots of products to no avail and recieved nasty side effects from certain treatments. Aveeno products are BY FAR the best eczema treatment out there and all natural too! It's the only thing kept the eczema under control using alongside their moisturiser (up to three times a day-and it works!). It is very important not to use soaps and irritating chemicals when suffering with eczema and this product prevents that happening. It has a smooth light texture on the skin and makes it very soft. Also great for shaving! Aveeno prevents the constant use of steroidal anti inflammatory topical creams and does the job of reducing itching, redness, inflammation, dryness and all eczema symptoms. Using this and the moisturiser actually cleared up the most stubborn eczema! Must use constantly however or it won't be as affective (especially the moisturiser).Aveeno products have always been very good for your skin especially if you are sensitive or suffer from dry skin etc.I have tried other shower gels like Dove and another Aveeno body wash but they were not so good.This particular Aveeno product is a Skin Relief body wash and is the best, unfortunately it is not marketed in the UK and I came across it in the USA on holiday. Since I bought it on Amazon UK I have not been able to get hold of it again (its not viable to buy from the USA) which is a big pity.Don't forget if it doesn't say Aveeno "Skin Relief body wash" and "gently cleanses & moisturizes to soothe itchy, dry skin" on the bottle its not the onecame in good time well packaged, its great to use when shaving under arms and legs e.t.c. as leaves you feeling moisturised and silky soft no irritation at all and I have sensitive skin where most products I can not use, i would always recommend any none fragranced aveeno products this is the newest to my bathroom basket (this is also fantastic as a shower wash.Nothing special average body washFantastic feeling on the skin. Soft, very mild soft smell. Seems like a great product so far!
