I like the way my hair feels after a washing with this product. The washing part is also nice, with a pleasant scent and tingling on my scalp.This is my primary shower soap because I like that Aveda products don’t have harsh chemicals in them. The smell is fantastic, but not overwhelming and it even has a deodorant effect. I can use natural deodorant or none at all if I use the Aveda peppermint rosemary liquid soap. No underarm odor, even when exercising. Yay. My skin is just a little bit dry with it. So a little moisturizer can solve that.Great productWe received samples at a hotel while on vacation and bought more. The scent is great and there's shampoo and conditioner also. It is very expensive so makes a good gift.I primarily use it as my hand wash.I was looking forward to this product. I purchased shampoo, conditioner, and this hand and body wash. They all smelled like chemicals, heavy alcohol chemicals. The hand and body wash is the worst of all. It smelled so bad I had to just toss it out. It actually gave me a headache when I used in shower. Im not sure what is in this but it can't be good. Very disappointed because it was so expensive :( bummeri have loved scented shower gels for over 30 years, but had to give them up (reluctantly) about 15 years ago because they dried out my skin. I managed by using Dove body bars in the shower, but missed my shower gels every day. About 3 years ago I discovered this product while on vacation and was overjoyed! At last! A shower gel (nowadays called body wash) that didn't dry out my skin! I was hooked. When I came home and shopped for it online, I was amazed at how expensive it was, but said, I'm worth it! It's body wash that doesn't dry out my skin! So I bought it. I used it for over a year and was content. I still moisturized my skin when I got out of the shower, but it worked for me.About 18 months ago my daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandkids moved in with us. They used Dove Moisturizing Body wash, and the one for sensitive skin for the kids. I thought that it must be good if they used Dove on an 18 month old and a 3 year old. So I tried the Dove body wash just for 2 weeks to compare. I noticed after 3-4 days that I wasn't using as much moisturizer as usual after my shower but didn't take think anything of it. Then I went back to the Aveda body wash. I immediately saw a difference!! The Dove Moisturizing Body wash does a MUCH better job of Moisturizing your skin, produces more lather with less product, and costs a fraction of the price! The only thing missing is a lovely scent, but I didn't really like the scent of the Aveda, anyway. The only product I have found that does a better job of Moisturizing than the Dove body wash is Vitabath Moisturizing bath & shower gelee Plus for dry skin (if you can get past the VERY aggressive fragrance).I have been using this for 4-5 years, with the pump it lasts a long time,. The scent is fresh but not overpowering, just clean smelling. I like the subtle scent and the fresh clean feeling from washing with this.I recommend this fine body to anybody who enjoys the light scernt of rosemary/mint
