Smells wondeful, cleans less wondeful. They told me it is Castile soap and can be used on laundry and dishes. Laundry smells great but doesn’t get too clean.. and with 4 boys and a husband out on a farm.. we need clean. Trying to stay away from chemical laden detergents from the main stores but can’t get a good clean if I do. The boys clothes all look stained now. The search continues!So this may seem silly but one of my go to reasons for buying this brand outside of it being organic, holistic and ethical ? I am in love with the brilliant top saver! I work at a fulfillment center and I can't tell you how many times I've smelled and slipped on spilled soap! Thank you to whoever thought that one up because as a customer I love ordering and getting all that I pay for! ?The price is great, but I question that this is true castile soap or that there is any lavender at all in this product. I have been using castile soaps for many years for a variety of household purposes, transferring the soap into different bottles and sometimes diluting. This soap is so gelatinous that it WILL NOT POUR into other bottles without a funnel. It seems to have been OVER-SAPONIFIED, meaning it seems overly full of potassium hydroxide. My husband and I used it in hand soap bottles, and found it to dry out our hands to where we now have a moisturizing routine before we go to bed. It also stinks like the harsh soaps my mom used to use to prewash heavily soiled clothing, nothing at all like lavender. After using half a gallon, we dumped all the hand soaps, bought some Dr. Bronners, and put this product in the garage in case of an oil spill or something. Very cheaply made.Castile liquid soap is BEST!! This is great product for price-per-ounce...seems like this shop is not greedmongering said some of the guppy-fancy label shops/brands tend to do..Will shop here againI’ve been buying a different brand for years and this is my new favorite soap.Bizarrely thick and gloopy, but almost no cleaning power or suds. When I used this up and switched back to La Almona Castile soap I noticed that I was suddenly using 1/4 as much soap.Great value—not runny. Smells yummyWonderful product, fast delivery, great price!
