First I will say that the ar is very small for what you pay, I was skeptical. However, once I used it I was hooked.I have found using this with a mesh soap bag provides a very thick lather that stays in place so you can let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cool water. I also add a few drops of Remedy Soap.I have full body itching and rashes in skin folds such as groin, breasts, back of knees and underarms that flare up when I sweat. Which is almost always. I have tried everything from pills to lotions and ointments and nothing had brought me relief like this combined with a few drops of Remedy Soap.I got this soap to try for my son because he has eczema and very itchy dry skin. This had a nice smell and he enjoyed using it. It made his skin a little smoother and helped a lot with the itching when first using it. We maintained the itchiness with creams after, overall seemed to work good.Springtime in New England (and New Hampshire where I live) is black fly and mosquito season. We live in a heavily wooded area which is beautiful, but you have to learn to live with insect bites if you like to spend time outside. The black flies have been pretty brutal for the last couple of weeks and they really create an itch for a day or two after they bite. This soap works great at soothing the itch. I will also make sure I take it with me on my next camping trip. Bites are inevitable, so you might as well be prepared. The 6 individual soaps with 2 sides -- an exfoliating side and a lathering soap side is a nice idea. Make sure you leave the lather on the itchy area for a bit to get the maximum benefit (or just leave it on the skin to dry naturally).This soap seems to work well for soothing itchy skin. I had an insect bite I tested this on and it calmed the itching down nicely. The soap feels good on the skin and the sassafras and grindelia are the active herbal ingredients that help with itching. As a side note, Webmd lists other skin condition uses for grindelia as well.There are 6 bars in the package. Each bar has its own box. Inside the box, each bar is first wrapped in paper and then sealed in a plastic enclosure. Thus the bars are well protected. I found the bars had no discernable odor. They're a bit pricy compared to store-bought soap but similar in price to the various bespoke soaps you'll find at arts festivals and fairs. They're worth a try if you have itchy skin and certainly good to keep around for outdoor activities.I got this soap for my legs - I have exercise induced urticaria (basically, my body treats exercise like an allergen) and in combination with an active lifestyle, I end up itchy a lot. Without thinking I've scratched the skin on my legs quite severely. This soap, although it can't help with urticaria, does soothe and calm the skin on my legs if I've scratched them too much, or if I have scraped them during a hike or other activity. It definitely doesn't dry my skin out or trigger any reactions.I like to have natural ingredients used in health care and personal care products I’m using. This soap bar is a good example. It contains all natural ingredients with no chemicals or other artificial additives. The combination of different oils, powders and extracts seems a mild formula but turning out to be impressively effective dealing with itch and irritation. It is pretty simple with no complicate steps needed to apply this soap onto the skin. After using it, amazingly my skin feels more soothing, and originally itchy spots stops bugging me. The effect is quick and obvious. This soap bar is very impressive.I got this soap by Marie originals to help itching with mosquito bites. This is all natural and made with oatmeal so it doesn’t dry out your skin. A little goes a long way. I live near the water and am allergic to mosquitoes so they itch extremely bad. I like to use as many all natural products as possible so this soap is great for me. It is the first anti itch soap that I have tried and it definitely helped calm the itch for a few hours after using! The smell is also pleasant.
