I put this one on an affordable Epiphone Casino. Drilling and screwing is necessary, but only on the side walls of the guitar, the top remains unscathed (The thing just puts a "foot" down on the top for stability.Changing strings is no fun with a Bigsby, but you knew that. You also knew that this is not a device for dive bombs. You get to add some shimmering vibrato to your chords, and you get to look like a badass, that's about it.The material looks lovely and cool. And: The Bigsby made this Epiphone better sounding, even when not in use. There's something about all this metal and weight that seems to enhance the guitars resonance along with its looks. Go for it. (Easy to install unless you're a total klutz.)
